4 Different Types Of Bath Soaps You Can Choose From

by Zack Gilbert

When you go to the store and purchase bath and body care soap you may not realize there are many different types available. Because you use bath soap every single day it is important that you choose the right type for your body. To help you below are four different types of soaps that are available on the market.

Beauty Soap

Beauty soaps have fragrances to make your body smell good. You can find beauty soaps made for specific skin types. For example, if you have dry skin there are beauty soaps that have moisturizing ingredients in them. In most case, beauty soaps are made with special oil blends or glycerin.  Beauty soaps are also made to remove makeup without stripping natural oils from your skin.

These soaps are also made with ingredients like vegetable or animal fat and alkali. You will also find some soaps to have alcohols or other synthetic ingredients.

Triple Milled Soap

Triple milled soap is longer-lasting and harder. You have much denser suds with this soap. This means you will not have soap that leaves behind the soggy suds in your soap dish. Most triple milled soaps use natural oils, such as olive oil, instead of chemicals and animal fats that are used in many soaps. This makes this soap much more moisturizing and healthier for your skin.

Organic Soap

You will also find organic soaps on the market. This type of soap only uses natural ingredients. This is especially helpful if you have sensitive skin because chemicals found in inorganic soap likely affects your skin.

You will find organic soap made with flower essences and goat's milk. Goat's milk is beneficial because it moisturizes your skin and keeps your skin hydrated throughout the day. The flower essences give the soap natural fragrances, such as rose, lemongrass, lavender, and citrus. You will also find organic soaps that have almond. This type works well if you want to exfoliate your skin.  You can find organic soap at health food stores.

Glycerin Soap

Glycerin is a component of oil or fat, which makes the soap feel moisturizing. You will find that this soap is translucent, which is due to the molecules that are used in the soap, along with sugar and alcohol.  You can also find glycerin in a variety of scents, and should have no problem finding at your local pharmacy or grocery store.

When you try a new soap listen to your skin as it will tell you if it is the right type of soap to use.
